Ummm Top Page Question

Ok the install was easy, but I am trying to get my Top Page layout working the way I want, basically I wanna have a customer block apear on the anon page (ie when ya not logged in) but can only seem to get this to show when I am logged in

Anyone know how I can get this to work ??

Create your block, and make sure it is ticked on Groups - anonymous user. You should be able to untick it on other user groups.

I dont see where ya can tick which group.... hmm maybe i am missing something.

K now that I have it working, just have one more question, how do I get rid of the drop down box that lets me select which new cat and the damn "go" button ?

Just want the news to display without these.

News module preferences
"Select yes to display navigation box at the top of each news page" <-- set to no.
