Hi I am an Atmosphere user, the proggie creates an embedded Viewpoint enviroment in a web page, How can I display the web page or the enviroment alone in the center Block to be used as the main page?
my site is http://www.tricrosian.com/xoops/
my site will be dedicated to Atmosphere and anything related to it.
thank you all beforehand for the help.

I havn't tried Atmosphere since it was in beta quite some time ago. I'm not sure how you would display this in a block, but in theory you should be able to copy past your code into a new block. The site will send a plugin request to the browser and it should display, but I'm only guessing at this point. I didn't use it very much and I'm waiting for more product support and general use before I lookinto it further.

CBlue, Atmosphere is an Adobe product for displaying 3d like pages.

Hiya Loq!

I'll be watching this thread with interest. I've had no luck with this yet either.

ok here is what I did , tried the creation of a new block , it looked for the plug-in but in the block itself all I had showing was the title nothing more.
tried with tiny content also, no luck .
looking into it further.
since embeding a flash and embeding a viewpoint are quite similar , I thought embeding a viewpoint would be easier.
apparently it isnt so.

will keep ya posted.

Eureka!
I have successfully installed an Atmosphere player in the front page of my site, the world is a bit heavy , if you view the site be warned it will take a while for the world to load if you are in a modem.
the world is animated , it's chat enabled, it works
more worlds will be featured as we go along
thank you for the suggestions.

HOW I DID IT

Created a block and placed it in the center/center
on the block I created a form with 1 column 1 row
included the code for the Atmosphere plug-in
I adjusted the display percentage of the player at 475 width, 350 height.
fired it up
it worked beautifully

cheers all
on to the next step
still have to add content to the rest of the site.
again thanks for the help
