The general system settings, makes it possible to choose a default module to start with. This is for all users.

It would be very helpful to make this setting dependent on a user group, so, anonymous users get an other first page.

In my case, the NEWS module is the default module, but...I don't want to let anonymous users see this. They need to get a different page.
