Unable to send user activation key

I have sendmail setup properly, it works really fine but still unable to send users activation keys.
I had to manually activate them which is quite irratating.

Any ideas?

do other email functions within XOOPS - Mail Users, Notification Emails, work? AFAIK, all email functions with XOOPS use the same mailer settings, so if one fails they should all fail.

Hi,
This might be a very simple problem that i dont know how to figure out.

It come out
"You are now registered. However, we were unable to send the activation mail to your email account due to an internal error that had occurred on our server. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please send the webmaster an email notifying him/her of the situation. "

What does it mean by internal error? do i have to set or change anything in my configuration or something?

my site when you register depending on your filter level the activation e-mail goes to junk mail

Im running it under windows and havent set up a mail server and a few minutes ago ran into the same problem. I wish I could help ya but the only way around it was to manually enter them which didnt take much time at all by editing them in the Groups area of the administration menu.
