hello !
cool if it suits your needs :)

i'm not sure to understand what you need for your "basics" menu.

i don't know the time before the final version.
when there are no more bugs

I think that you can use this version, and that it is rather stable.

Thanks for your comments Barry. You have been a wonderful tester for us.

I think we should release the final version by the end of the week. So far, I see the module is up and ready for a production use. I don't say it's totally over, as in many discussions, people have arised with excellent suggestions, but at this point the goal of this version is reached: have a dynamic multiMenu manager.

Well, to both blueteen and Solo, I hope my testing helped a little. Mostly my issues were of my own making, but I think I found one little bug some time ago.

blueteen, I was referring to the top menu in the left panel on the aka.org site (which is titled The Basics). I was trying to point out that if you put a menu of type Notes beneath another Mainmenu, it only shows as a submenu. To make it show permanently, I had to make it a mainmenu item. It would be nice to have a Notes menu that would show at the mainmenu level.

The menu item I'm referring to is the [#] = PMs waiting item.

I'm off to bed. i have to get up in 6 hours to teach veterinary students. At least that is something I have some expertise in.

Exactly. If I make it a menu of type Note, it only shows up when the Mainmenu item above it is clicked (i.e. Discussion on my site). I set it to type Mainmenu so that it will show permanently but that means it acts like a link when you mouseover it. Even though it's not linked to anything and clicking does nothing, the fact that it looks like a link might confuse some users.

can you log into aka, to see if it's OK for you ?
i've modified 'switch vertical menu' template.

in multimenu_dyn_switchvert.html at line 44 and 97 :

<div class="menutitle">

changed to :

<{if $linkurl}><div class="menutitle"><{else}><div class="menutitle2"><{/if}>

and a new css declared !
<style type="text/css">
.
menutitle {
cursor:pointer;
}

.
menutitle2 {
cursor:cursor;
}
</
style>

if a main standard link doesn't have an url configured, the title will not be clickable.
else, if there an url (or a dot for example), the link will works correctly.

if a main standard link doesn't have an url configured, and have a sublink, the menu works too.

you can tell me if there's still a problem/bug !

Yes, that's good. I think that is better behavior.

Thanks,

thanks solo for the great module.very amazing especially the "context" menu.[ "why right click doesnt works" said users :)) ]
maybe a bug:
"drop down vertical 2" is not right to left in Right to left langs. this problem is not occure in many modes and it shows that this module is realy compatible with RTL languages.

feature:
see in my site the menu in top right:
www.jadoogaran.org

now if its possible to have a DIFFERENT image when click on every link i think its can be done by multimenu.
