No, it is not to become new XOOPS, it will always remain at the current XOOPS .
SIMPLE XOOPS stands for simply extended XOOPS.
(XOOPS with HACKS )

I am getting test site up now, will add a second temp site to see how it goes, but may tak e a little longer than expected, my ADSL 2+ link is down and I am stuck on 256/64 and 512/128 wireless links for now.. .:(

OK, got it uploaded for one site, it is a little different and the multisite and a few other things are in German (I think, remember I am not a linguistics person)

It does things a little different, bit like 1.x but also like 2.0.x with the added menu changes... need to play for a bit i think, only got 1 on-site job on tomorrow so should be able to play a little bit...is now 3am so beddy byes for me...

Good luck anyone else trying this.. :)

Hi, Glad you mentioned that and I didn't stick it on a live english site

Could you do the XOOPS community a big favour since you have all the hacks in your hands, could you also make a repository for hack for Xoops, if that is along your plans anyway of "Xoops with hacks"..


Then you will achieve being XOOPS main hack site, as there isn't a clear one at present.

Upto you, just many of the Hack you are including in simple Xoops, People also need for 2.0.13.2 and 2.0.4.
They are about, yet easier to find if you are multilingual, so if you could, it would be great!

not a bad idea the hack site, but I dont have much time, got a bit of server space and can add a subdomain, prolly pop on google adwords to subsidise the space :)

Anyone else got any ideas? I am aware this may be a little off topic atm, but we still talking about multi site hack.. :) as this is the main reason for the conversation.

So if there is interest in a hacks site repository and someone wants to help? fine by all means I can assist in the back-end, we could go with a subdomain such as www.xoopshacks.no1.com.au ? however english is my sole language.

I have been setting up a site to prepare multisite, 2.2.x is fairly different with admin menus. Just getting used to it. Also Multisite should be ok soon, I am going to run most of it through babel fish.

Wish me luck peoples... and again if anyone interested in a hacks site please let me know (PM may be best option for this as we want to remain fairly focussed here on multi site.

I can sort of help with langauges I speak spanish, not very good at writing, yet do understand most of it.

French, Italian and Portuegues is simliar to Spanish and I have translated a Italian module from what i know of the latin Langagues, yet when it came to releasing it there was no help, so I gave up.

Yet my spelling is terrible in any langauge

I can act as bridge on somethings in making it understood, so someone of their own langauge can then finnish it and polish the langauge off.

Speaking of which, I am Pollish, yet my understanding is limited.
Just a had serbian girl feind and took a lot of that in also.

Most of my frineds are German in Ibiza, yet I don't speak it very well.

So if I can help ask
