I noticed you have a beta listed under files released but no file, is there one coming soon?? I can't wait to try this out.

the 0.5 Beta release was added to the project so that users that so desire can monitor the release and be notified automatically when the files were submitted. As ejuden01 stated, we are preping a beta release. My plan was to have it ready today, but my "real" job has conspired against me this week. It will be released soon, barring any further work related fun.

Just thought I would chip in my 2 Cents.

GREAT MODULE!!!

Still beta, several feature do not work, but the core functionallity is there. I have submittedthe bug reports via dev.xoops.org as requested.

One question. This is such a great mod I would love to test it in my live site. Being beta I expect issues. I would just like reassurance that the future upgrades will be upgrades, not delete your DB and install this new version. I can work with bugs, but if I am forced to wipe my data, I can't test this in a live environment. (Then again, there is always MySQL Dump)

ejuden01 and I were talking about just this issue earlier today. Our intention is to never force an uninstall/reinstall, but to provide upgrade scripts if changes to the underlying database schema are necessary. I am very sensitive to this issue myself, since this module will be used at our company as its trouble ticket system.

I have submitted fixes to CVS for your reported issues. The nightly CVS version will have these fixes incorporated in them.

It really does rock!

I was working on a very simple help desk. I mean VERY SIMPLE. I will not scrap it in favor of this nice mod.

With this new info I will plan to roll it out in production too.

Are there plans for extensive time tracking features in the future?

The time spent is nice, but more reporting and logging features are needed to be a real time tracker.

This may be outside of your plans though.
