you don't need to be rocket scientist to figure out in most cases that the "unactivated" user is a bot. and if i have a doubt, i check further.
And I didn't suggest a script to automatically delete users. What I suggested was a simple admin side option to move the email address of an "unactivated user" from here to there, instead of always having to do it manually. Better to fix the problem before it starts, rather than review every comment, delete what's necessary and later ban the user.
if you want a website with 15,000 user comprised of 14,950 unactivated bots and 50 regular users, then go for it. have fun.

I've been using Xoops and these forums longer than any of you, including Mamba, and quite frankly I'm getting sick and tired of being $hit on every time I post a comment or idea. If you don't like an idea, fine don't use it.
