blockContent is still not displaying on the site.

Is this an issue with XOOPS core or is it a template issue?

Someday I'll find someone that knows the answer to:

"Why is the contentBlock not displaying when it's in the database?"

Have you verified that your css file doesn't have
the blockContent class set to 'hidden' or that the colors are not 'white-on-white', etc.?

Another way to help debug this is to look at the source of the rendered page to see what shows up between the
<div class="blockContent"></div> tags. This may give you some idea of whether XOOPS is attempting to render the content.

This is what the source looks like for the leftcolumn:

</td>

For the centercolumn:
<fieldset>

<legend class="blockTitle">CustomBlock Title as defined in database</legend>

</fieldset>


This looks like XOOPS is not rendering the content at all for CustomBlocks.

What I don't understand is why this data would not be rendered?

Your block_type is that not an uppercase 'C'?

I checked the database which contains an uppercase 'C' in the block_type field.

It looks like all the data in that Field are Upper Case.

Even when I create new blocks, they do not display blockContent.

Is this a template issue?

What else should I look at?

If you could provide access to the site I can take a look into it. I think this problem is very specific and we won't be able to help without looking inside your files.

By access I meant FTP access (by PM) and maybe admin permissions to see debug errors.
