btesec,

Did you make the changes stated above? I believe the "Parse errors" you're seeing are due to those changes either not being made, or not completed correctly.

The notices, while "unnerving" are not critical. The module is in the process of being updated. Once 2.3 stablizes a little and we get some time to make the numerous changes required to make it work "correctly" under the 2.3 architecture we'll try and get another release completed.

Xoops continues to change and it's a struggle to keep the module updated while at the same time provide backward compatibility for those that don't upgrade to 2.3.x

Is it possible to assign a listing to multiple categories?

Yes, an administrator can assign a listing to multiple categories.
* Go to Admin > Yellow Pages.
* Select the Categories Tab.
* In the lower right corner you'll see the "Multiple Categories Manager" form. Select the Listing you would like to modify and then click "Modify this Listing"

Sorry, you'll have to see if you can contact Tripmon for info. on the next release - it's his module.

I have the fixes outlined in this thread implemented as well as a few other improvements but haven't been able to get him to look at them yet. The module causes some PHP "Notices" to appear under XOOPS 2.3.x since some of the classes that are used by MX-Directory are being deprecated. MX-Directory works fine but the module will need some rewriting to get rid of the PHP notices with debug turned on since the XoopsTree and XoopsMailer classes are being changed in the core.
