Definitely not considering it an attack, This post was a request. In the news article it said that we had to ask for permission to use manipulations of the original. They sited color but I wanted to animate it. After all what good are spheres without revolution :)

I can wing the shadow thing, were you also looking for translucency, so you could see the smaller sphere through the larger one? or atleast a shadow of it.

I like your concept of the revolving spheres. To me, it furthers the image that the original author invisioned, but that's just my take.

I like the idea - but whoever said the stuff about it defeating the whole meaning of the logo had a point too.

Biteronboard, I know you said it was a rough draft, but there is no way you are doing that as an animated gif.

Flash all the way.



Where are the jpegs? I need jpgs of the logo, vectors or whatever, then I can start making screensavers, wallpapers etc.

Personally, I would like to see the option of both flash and animated .gif

For many projects, I prefer not to use flash, as well as many other designers.

Just my 2 cents.
