Have you installed any scripts via your web host?
sometimes these will install little items to your account that lead elsewhere.
What do i mean by that?Type in your site name but instead of typing inhttp://yoursite type inhttps://yoursite might be something lodged in there somewhere

I'm having some trouble getting in touch with my host. They haven't responded to my messages, and they won't validate my registration for their forums so that I can ask other users. So I guess its time to move on, which stinks since I recently paid in full for the next year.

Can someone recommend an affordable (cheap) webhost?

I didn't notice your post on the second page until right now. I have other sites on my host, but the only scripts I've installed are a few guestbooks, and a gallery script (coppermine).

I'm not sure exactly how https works. I typed https:// for all of my sites and it brings me to a test page that says "Hey, it worked ! The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website." (I'm still fairly new to this all, so don't laugh at me). The site in question by the way is "roguecraft.com". Its just the basic XOOPS install though.

BTW,http://nmuwebhosting.com/ might be a bit much for me. With my last host, I only had 500mbs storage, and 3gbs transfer :)

Affordable is good, but stay away from cheap!!!

surpasshosting.com rocks for me.
GDL-Web.com :: Website development.
Xoopslance.com::Freelancing and Projects
thelionsden-arena.net:: Clan/League/Ladder Hosting

Why would you think he was hacked? SugarCRM is just a Open source CRM package. If it were a 'bot' why would it want to redirect to a local package? 'Never attribute to malice what can be explained by inpompetence'.
I think he(or someone else) has been playing with apache rewrites that redirects all requests to the sugarcrm login. check if your .htacces is empty or all lines there really belong there.
remove all files (also the hidden .files!) add one simple index.html and test if that works. make sure you have a clean slate before you install again.
good luck!
