Yee Haw...

But I tried to install (currently have xdir installed.)
tried just plain install of mxdirectory without changing dir name. Getting the following error:

Table 'xoops_xdir_broken' already exists

Unable to install directory. Error(s):

Any idea how to install this along with xdir? for testing...

did we not read the readme...

if it's not a production site:

while I don't advise it unless you can back up and restore your database, current module files, and custom templates, it is possible.

you can (because I did...)

1. Copy the *contents* of mxdirectory into your existing x-dir directory (replacing all files)
2. follow readme to rename the class file
3. execute the update.sql file data in the sql window of phpmyadmin (you should get a confirmation of created entries)
4. update the module in admin
5. regenerate custom templates (if any)

I don't advise doing this, but there it is and it works if you dont miss a step or fat finger the keys. No warranty

Great Work!

small problems.

If I click on yellow pages in the main menu I just get redirected back to the home page, but it works from module admin.

special offers in the index page shows cid= There is no cid number it seems to work though.

I'll keep looking But good job. Thanks.

Thanks,

The cid var is called from within a category and will provide all category coupons. The var is empty when savings.php is called by the index, but populated when in a category. So while the cid= could be parsed out when the var is empty, it is performing as desired and really presents no problems.

Could you explain in any more detail at:

NOTE:

If your server is set to serve .html files (index.html) prior to PHP files (index.php) you can resolve the "Main menu link returns to homepage" problem above by removing the index.html file in the module root.
