OK in case I miss you, here's what to do:
1) Once phpmyadmin loads, select your database in the dropdown menu on the left(there may only be 1)
2) when you do this, a list of tables should appear on the right. Find xoops_config, and click on the first icon along (browse)
3) this brings up a new page with a list of fields. The one you want is #7, conf_name theme_set.Cick on the pencil icon to edit this.This opens a page where you can edit the fields. Just change the value for conf_value back to "default" (no quotes)
4)Select Save on the radio button, click "go" and you're done!
