Hope to see that module here for download.. It might come handy .. Features like these is kinda addictive as far as the users are concerned, and that means more visitors for webmasters

there is a module for that called "WebMailFX" ( web mail for xoops) but i think so its better to put this feature to homepage module ( combine between two modules? webmail and homepage???)
and it will be very nice if users have a clean URL.
i dont know exactly but for example this url:
domain/xuhp/hp.php?uid=xxxx

Since there's no progress, I wonder if someone thinks of a similar module that can be altered for the same purpose ?

Since it's a really requested feature, probably some thoughts were here and there about it ....

I would love to see that kind of module. I have checked out quite a few cms' and haven't seen anything like that. Does anyone know of a cms that already has a module that would allow the user to alter their homepage and have web based email on it?

buddy, mambo has it, look for UHP aka user home pages, there's actually 2 modules out with that functionality


dunno about the web based email functionality.

Thanks. I set up a site with mambo once but I think like XOOPS better over all. I guess I'll just be patient and wait for the module to come out for xoops.

also check drupal, it has per-user blogs and whatnot, i believe it can process html. i just looked at it yesterday, not bad, a bit too much administration for my tastes tho

I must say that it seems every project you are involved in, I hold great interest for. Searching through forums, dev.xoops, mod rep... and there you are.

You do such cool stuff! I can't wait for this module and a few others you have on the go. Keep up the hard work, keep going... you're young, a machine, no food, no sleep!
