Xdonatinons and Xoops 2.4

I have upgraded my site to version 2.4. After that I get a error with the xdonations module. It worked fine in 2.3.

This is the error I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function path() on a non-object in MYSITE\class\logger.php on line 34

I tried to use the logger.php file from XOOPS 2.3. But then I got another error:

Fatal error: Class 'XoopsPreload' not found in MYSITE\class\database\databasefactory.php on line 66

Anyone know how to solve this?

Last version I have seen is available here :http://xoops.kiolo.com/modules/mydownloads/

... but not tested

Thanks for that. I didnt have the latest version. I had version 1.90. Latest seem to be 1.95. But unfortunality it did not solved my problem. Now i get another error:

Could you report here Errors displayed with debug mode actived ?

If you are not familiar with the French language, I will ask to JJDai forums.

Same issue is discussed here, but without solution

The problem is with ./includes/common.php and the XOOPS common.php code. xdonations disables using the XOOPS common.php code (see ipnppd.php - line 33).
$xoopsOption['nocommon'] = 1;


The issue is that the xdonations ./includes/common.php uses a subset of the XOOPS common.php file from a previous version of XOOPS - which involks methods in a way that is incompatible with the latest version of Xoops.

Now for the real question: 'Why did the original module designer feel it necessary to bypass the XOOPS common.php file and add a scaled down version?'

If you can find the answer to that question you may be able to determine if you can eliminate the need for the xdonations ./includes/common.php file and just use the current XOOPS version. Otherwise you'll need to modify the xdonations ./includes/common.php file to be similar to the current XOOPS version of that file...

Has anyone fixed this or has anyone verified that the IPNs still work on 2.4? Thanks.

I have given up on this and am now using the subscription module by thirdeye software; so far so good.
