I have been working on WF-Channel for the last week and trying to get a release asap and I have added a lot of new features and 'refactored' a lot of the code.

Some of the new features include:
User Side
1. SEO friendly
2. Bookmarks (Two types either AddThis or internal book marks), cached for faster browsing
3. Tags (Xoops Tags)
4. Related pages
5. Faster PDF Creation and cached for faster browsing
6. RSS feeds
7. XOOPS Notifications
8. Displaying of comments counts, user and publish date, copyright notice and a new page display.
9. New Icons from Xoops
10. Changed the way that the logo image works and added the ability to add a caption below the main page image.
11. Improved CSS validation and should validate correctly (Ignoring the XOOPS Errors)
12. Fixed many issues with the links and refer pages.
13. Added html tidy to all pages, print and PDF creation (if enabled by the server).
14.

Admin Side:
1. Refactored a lot of the WF-Resource class and methods, either for speed increase, security issues and/or feature upgrades.
2. Added the ability to search pages via the admin side by date/text
3. Added XoopsSecurity to page/refer/link submission.
4. Added Form tabs, now forms are broken down into manageable segments by tabs.
5. Changed the way that textarea boxes are displayed within Forms. These will no longer be squashed into the right hand side of the form, but now span two columns. Making it easier to work with.
6. Added Mass Html Import, this is quite basic, but should do the job. Will need some more work after user feed back.
7. Updated the Admin menu, adding and removing new/old items. This is now 'templated'.

Plus many many more changes that I just do not remember.

The updater should now work correctly. Hopefully......

You can take a peek look at this module here

I am currently looking for a couple of testers to help iron out any issues and the updater.

PM if you would like to help out.

Plus, if you have any feature requests, please let me know, and yes, I might be persuaded to add category support in the future if I get enough requests to do so.

I agree with blueteen, either categories or easy cloning would be a must requirement

2. plugin support for trabis mytabs 2.2 slideshow
last time this is in aplha mode..not sure of the status of the module..maybe will be merge into the new publisher module

3. comment form
in the same page as the article if that is possible..

4. true friendly url
eg.http://www.mysite.com/modules/wfchannel/aboutus.html

5. a submemnu in mainmenu for article..as example name of article is what is xoops
and in the submenu we can put it as About Xoops..
is this already exist ?

happy for xoops..many content module is available...news, wfchannel, publisher, article, content, smartsection, ams, mastop etc

P/S : missing language for rss button

md_wfp_rssfeeds

Hi Catz

Looking good.

Especially like the 'multiple pages' feature.

Thanks guys,

Most of what you're asking is going to be on the wish list for the next version. I basically have planned a feature freeze on version 2.0.5 and I will just concentrate on fixing bugs and security issues and nothing else.

On that last note. I found a serious XXS security issue that I am currently fixing and once I have done that I will release it for testing.

I also plan on starting a dedicated Forum for the Xoosla Modules. The Xoosla Branding will start later as I have to much to do right now :-p
