Moving from newbbex to newbb

I started with newbbex to keep it simple but it kinda sucks (sometimes) so i want to move all posts to newbb. The newbbex readme says moving from newbb tot newbbex only requires changing the database names, i tried that in the opposite direction but that didn't quite work :(. Any help? plz homies

I suppose that if it's possible to go from newbb to newbbex without executing a conversion script then it should be possible to go the other way?

A good starting point would be to compare the number/names of the newbbex tables in the database with those from a standard newbb/CBB installation.

I'm willing to help with the comparison as I use CBB 3.08

What are the newbbex tables in your database?

thanks for the feedback, these are the tables:

what i tried before was:
- install newbb
- delete tables of newbb that newbbex had too
- rename all bbex tables to bb
and that didnt work

My cbb installation has the following tables:

prefix_bb_archive
prefix_bb_attachments
prefix_bb_categories
prefix_bb_digest
prefix_bb_forums
prefix_bb_moderates
prefix_bb_online
prefix_bb_posts
prefix_bb_posts_text
prefix_bb_reads_forums
prefix_bb_reads_topics
prefix_bb_reports
prefix_bb_topics
prefix_bb_postdata

I think you're going to struggle.....unless you can persuade phppp/bandit_x to provide a conversion script?

Would it help if I made a SQL-dump of my tables so that you could see what was in them?

Might help get you a little closer, perhaps?
