Problem with PM module

About 99% of my PM module works fine, so I am already a lucky bastard, but I would like to get the last % as well.
When a user goes to his inbox, and reads his message, the new message icon does not go away. The system keeps thinking there is a new message a keeps showing "New Message".
Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Bob

In addition, the "You have xx New Messages" indicator has disappeared from the Main Navigation.

Which version of XOOPS? There were some problems with 2.2.1 through 2.2.3RC1 that are being addressed in 2.2.3RC2. You may want to hold out just a little longer. 2.2.3RC2 is really close to being released.

Best Regards,

Using 2.2.2 right now. And there is no way i'll use a RC on my production site. Thought there might be a solution for this, apparently have to wait to 2.2.3 FINAL.

2.2.2 here and I agree with the jansen - no RC version is going to production on my domain. In the meanwhile, can we at least get a patch to fix this very annoying issue?

Thanks

They are working on a script to return to the latest fully stable version. Soon there will be a downgrade script for 2.0.13.1.

Return to Word Perfect 5.1 when Word keeps hanging does not look like a solution to me. 2.2 has some nice features that I would not like to miss. Downgrading sounds to me like a very bad option...
