do hope lots of people responding to your call phppp (and can assist you continuing the great work you have done in newbb/cbb).

sorry if it's oot. i think this post will become unnoticed shortly, once it go pass the front page of xoops. ability to make it 'sticky' in the frontpage would be great or i think we might need to think something else in announcing critical news (from the XOOPS core).

I share karedokx sentiment in hoping you get an enthusiastic team together to continue development. I'm putting CBB on a production site next week. I'll be glad to make suggestions and report any problems I encounter if it will help.

I would like to know where you plan to monitor posts about CBB. For example, should we post ideas and issues in the module requests/troubleshooting forums, or somewhere else?

One thing that makes CBB great is that the 'View New Posts' feature would display this thread in the list even if you had been on holiday for a week.

phppp -

Before the newbb2 meltdown I was put in charge of designing the karma system by predator.

I'd be happy to pass on the system, post here the ideas I collected, developed from working on it.

Let me know.

Thank you guys!
Before the "Team Coordinator" is chosen, you could put features/suggestions/bigfixes in this thread.

@Rhomal, thanks for reminding me. I remembered that I started a XOOPS karma project at dev.xoops.org and invited you as project coordinator. Did not know that Predator also had discussed with you
I did not find my karma project right now. However it is with no doubt that we still need the karma system, and you : )

A feature to merge and split topics would be great...

I have short knowledge about coding. But never tired to request for features.

As I mentioned before, only thing that will make users not to think about other forums but CBB, is DESIGN LAYOUT.
The forum index page design is not strong looking like IPB or other options. Let's make it better than IPB!

Since XOOPS 2.2 will come with Dynamic User Fields, so no need to add this IPB like option to CBB.
