Invision Admin Trouble

I am having trouble getting into the admin section of my Invision Message Board. My webmaster account seems to be locked out. This happened once before and I just had a friend with webmaster status login and update my account and it worked again. This time we are both locked out of the IMB admin section. These are the only webmaster accounts on the site. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to resolve this? I have full access to the database if that helps.

Contact Admin to reset you passowrd. By webmaster I think you are not talking about Admin. Secondly, some IE6 browser with updated patch have session problem and will not allow to log you in. Once agian try log-in using other browser like Netscape, and if you are using some Firwall like ZoneAlarm, please keep it off.

if u have database access.

in table xoops_users

find column 'mgroup'

find ur user id.. ie the id of your user account.. usually the 1st webmaster is id 1..

then make sure for that id that mgroup = 4

usually an sql query like this will do the trick

UPDATE TABLE xoops_users SET mgroup=4 WHERE uid=1

Thanks m0nty that worked. My mgroup was set to 3. Any reason why that would have changed?
