Hi everyone,

I was testing my site and i signed up as a registered member but unfortunately the confirmation email must have bounced off my full mail box.

So i try to re register but i can't because the email account is spoken for.

So i try to delete the record from a web master account but there is no access to the member until the email address is confirmed.

am i in a catch 22 without hope for savior or does someone out there know a fix?

There is a solution for the admin to resend the mail.

Until now i think no one has come up with a fix for the user to force the mail to be resent. (just a remark)

Or you can try editing the user from administration menu - this should ask for confirmation on whether you want to activate the user. Say yes and the user is activated.

unfortunately the member does not show from the administration pane because they haven't verified themselves so the email address remains blocked currently

do as Mithrandir says..

goto amin, click system module, select find users.

you'll see at top it'll say inactive users..

in the search options near the bottom select view inactive users only and hit submit..

this will then show u all inactive users..

click edit on the user u want to view and it will return a message that the user is not activated yet, do you want to activate this account.. click yes and the user will then be activated.

he/she can then login as normal..

Awesome, thanks, my problem was i was looking in the members section not the members section in the admin part of the web site.

Thanks for clarifying, remember there are dumb people out here trying to use XOOPS.
