How can members use their own avatars?

I see that option in the settings, and I enabled it, but I still don't see where can people use their own custom avatars by either uploading them or just using URL

edit account, but make sure that the number of posts required for ctivating this feature is set to 0 in system admin-> preferences -> user settings.

Yes you can have it possible to upload avatars here are the steps

1.Go to prefrences in admin the go to User Info Settings
2.In this page you can set if users can upload own avatar

Thats all

I would value if it could be possible to use a url instead of an upload, kind of wastes server space IMHO....

yeah, i can see how a few bytes for each rare user that actually uploads their own avatar would multiply into a gig of space rapidly :-X
