is there a module which shows blocks each categories?

i can set blockappearance within adminsection and am able to select a module when block should be displayed! Is there a module in which i can edit content in categories and force different blocks each categories being displayed in that modul ?

i am looking for a modul in which i can add content in different categories: e.g.

- sports
- family
- xoops

nearly like the news modul .... [where i can edit and add categories]

then i want different sideblocks each categories. If content from eg. sports is shown i want to show a block with content refering to category sports. Showing content from categorie family i want to display a block with interesting stuff for family ... and so on..

hope this is easier to understand my thoughts ?

thanks for your reply! I can use this too ... but i'm actually looking for a solution to display additional content shown in blocks when a specific topic or categorie is displayed ... hm
