Hello everyone, how's it hanging?

I have just made a set of 6 color schemes for my basic theme on my site.

I would like to know how to change the themes' selection form's border, because i just can't seem to make it similar to my themes' colors, i've fiddled with many css styles and messed with phpkaox's styles to see if i could change it on the phpkaox theme, and i didnt find it out, can you help me? Thanks.

~Pedro

hey ifrit,

are you wanting to change all forms generated by XOOPS or a border on a block (themes)? if it is a block issue you may have to edit temlate.

again, a link would be helpful.

Hi again, thanks for your time.

Here are two pics of my site so i can explain myself better, since im real bad at trying to explain these things:

http://pwp.netcabo.pt/gandamaluke/one.gif

That's the first one, you can see the <select> form goes well with the layout, but what if i change to a dark one? Here:

http://pwp.netcabo.pt/gandamaluke/two.gif

As you can see the <select> form stands out too much, see the regular border on it? its the only thing i want to change, and only on that theme specifically, not on all the forms XOOPS creates like you asked, because that would make all the forms look like the same and im not looking for that ^^.

I hope i made myself understandable now ahah, thanks again.

Ps. You see why i dont have a link ^^ its just a local server and i only use it to test stuff.

hey ifrit,

i understand what you mean now, however i was unable to edit this either. it remains a mystery to me at this point, i tried many things to try and effect this but could not change the border.

Well i've searched on google and i've come up with the fact that it isnt possible as of yet, as i understand from reading some other people who wanted to change it.

Ah well... maybe there's a way to change theme selection core? instead of being on a form it could be normal links or something.

Thanks.

hey ifrit,

i did a search as well and came up with a lot of css for forms, but none that will change the border. i also tried to hack it and got an area surrounding the element tray to change but thats about it.

form {
background: #000;
border: 1px solid #000;
}

adjust the colors and see if this will work.
