hi all, is there anyone of you came across the problem when accessing to group permission and the page just show you:

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /modules/system/admin.php could not be found on this server.

i've tried to replace the entire groups folder in the modules/system/admin but seems dosen't help.

It worked ok but the problem started few days ago...
Anybody can tell me what could the problem be?

Hello chwloon

It looks like a custom Error 404 file not found error message

It is caused because file path is incorrect.

It should be XOOPS_ROOT/modules/system/admin/groupperm.php

Thanks WarDick, but the error is "406 Not Acceptable"

Maybe I should tell more about the problem i've encountered.

When I was in the System Configuration and I have my cursor moved over the group button the status bar of the browser show the link as below:

same for the rest of the button. For example when I move over the smilies button and the status bar show "http://acgrealm.net/modules/system/admin.php?fct=smilies"

the word after the equal sign is the directory's name.

And i've tried every single modules' control panel, all works perfectly but the Groups.

I did try to access through "http://acgrealm.net/modules/system/admin/groupperm.php" but it show that

"Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area."

Same as I access through "http://acgrealm.net/modules/system/admin/groups/groups.php" it show"

Access Denied

What could be others possibility?

hhttp://acgrealm.net/a/modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups

If you have are logged in as a user with perission to have access then the above link should work. By default I believe only the Webmaster has access to this file.

Yes, i've log in as webmaster, that's why i'm so panic about this issue.

I almost replace every possible the file that can cause this problem. Wonder reinstall will be better and easier?

Or is that possible something wrong with the SQL?

I am having this exact same problem that is being described. I've tried just about everything and nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

I cant figure out what is going on, and I would hate to drop XOOPS because of this odd bug.

anyone?

please?
