Blank screens and weird behaviour

Quite suddenly, many modules only show a blank screen (C-jay content, XFsection, XOOPS headline, tiny content and probably more)

I cleared the cach and templates_c but that did not resolve the issue.

Also, the admin button for EvenNews for a period was not showing.

I also re-enables the update templates but that has not fixed it.


Would someone please kindy let me know what else I could do to get the modules moving properly again?

Is there a database table I could restore?

Try to check your database table intregity using a database management tool like phpmuadmin. This looks like a corrupt table. Also try turning blocks/mysql debug on in system admin -> preferences -> general settings and see if there are any reported errors there.

Nothing came up unusual in phpmysqladmin or the php/blocks debug. Still blank screens. (none in admin)

Have replaced following tables with version that worked:

`xoops_config`
`xoops_configcategory`
`xoops_configoption`
`xoops_tplfile`
`xoops_tplset`
`xoops_tplsource`

any other tips that may help? Is there a crucial table that if it had an error, would create such a serious problem?

Assuming the admin section still works, you should turn on debug mode in general preferences.
