When using the gold theme, my blocks in the center start an inch below the side blocks. What might cause this? I'm looking at the theme.html file but I don't really know how a theme works so it's greek to me...

Thanks for any help

Doug P

I remember this theme, it was one of the first ones I used about a year ago. I had great difficulty with this at the time, and it's been so long now that I can't remember what I did to it because I ended up heavily modifying the theme till it was a fork of Gold.

Anyway, A theme is just a bunch of html tables that us .css for certain elements. Forunately, your in luck in that you don't have to modify the .css

Open up the theme html file and look at the tables. There is an issue with one of the tables that causes this little extra bit of annoying space to be added. Some trial and error with the table formating will fix it.

I only wish I remembered what it was I fixed. I still have my modified files, I'm a file pack-rat and delete nothing if I can help it. Let me know if you want it and I'll repackage and provide a link for you for comparison purposes, or if you just want to use it for yourself.

Ok, I'm not sure if found the right copy, I have so many of them from those days thats it's rather unorganised.

Anyhow, if you want to take a look head over to a test site I am working on and look for yourself.

Wow Stewdio! I love the look of your themes! I couldn't use gold way back because I couldn't figure how to fix the center column problem. If you have the theme.html file for it handy, can you email it to me? Thanks!

They're not my themes, but I felt a certain amount of pride back then when I fixed the Gold theme

These days it's almost old hat

No, but heres a link.

*link removed*

It's a bit different then the default. I also modified the .css a bit.

Thank me later :-p

**Edit**

Ooops, I forgot to mention that it has a few extra files, like backups, and images. I just zipped what I had from a working directory, sorry about that

At least tell me when you've grabbed the file so I can get it off my server. Thanks...

Or not, file and link removed. It's not meant for public consumption, I just wanted to help you...

Your welcome...
