Ok like an idiot I installed a module and then read that before I can install the module I have to install another program.

So how do I unistall the module so I can re-install it when it is ready to be installed?

You can't uninstall active modules, so deactivate it first.
admin - modules - deactivate your module. submit

Then uninstall the module
admin - modules - uninstall
