I'm trying to change a table width in the "main menu" section of my site

anyone help??

You should make appropriate changes in your theme.html and style.css files.

sort of thought that but no got a clue as to wot they all do

Theme.html in your theme's folder decide the general layout of your site. Where the logos and banners are placed, where and how the blocks are positioned and sized.

When XOOPS displays a page, it will load the left blocks in the area designated to the left blocks, center blocks in the area designated to center blocks and so on and so forth.

Style.css determines the colours and usually widths of tables etc.

so check them out and play around a bit with them.

Look in the Theme Development wiki to the left. It is a wonderful assistant in this learning.

If that doesn't work, send me an email address and I'll send you a set of fully commented theme.html and style.css files. These may not be your favorite layout... but they should help.

got ye, thanks a lot..

just so many of them to choose from,

is there a manual tellin you wot text is wot??

for example,wot is this one for??

AHHH i see now it tells you wot they are for, sort of trial and error after that i would have thought
