I have a forum with a multimedia-part. I was wondering if there is a way to make only the multimedia-part for members-only (only members can view this part and non-members must have no access) and the other parts of the forum must still be accesible for non-members. Can anyone help me with this?

u can private this forum and permission to all users one by one

unfortunately u cant permission to a group in a private forum in newbb

Or edit the forum and set "access level" to "registered user only"

Setting "access level" to "registered user only" would limit posting to registered users. If the forum is public, other users would still be able to view the forum.

I've never heard of such a hack, but private forums with group-access is possible with the new newbb (dev.xoops.org)
