I am a new in this so please don`t laugh.

I have installed everything PHP,APACHE,MYSQL and XOOPS everthing is working fine.

But there is one simpel thing that I can not get managed to work.
To change the layout on the first index page every letter I want to type is all written in the page when I am logging in but I want that on the first page before logging in.

I have tryed and tryed but I can not change it can someboy tell me where I can do that?

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying that the news section wont display on the first page or a custom block??

Oke imagine a webpage just like http://www.xoops.org

I think this webpage are three blocks one left one middle and one right

And I want to put text and picture in in the middle of the page.

How do I do that

hey punivers,

go to system admin - blocks, scroll to bottom and create custom block. then you will have to set permissions under groups so your anonymous users will see it.
