Easiest way?

Get them to register.

To elaborate on that, it is not currently possible with newBB. Future versions would possibly include this feature.

I'm not in the know about newbb PRO - perhaps look at that forum module.

I've seen newBB PRO features and it doesn't include that.
I will try to do a hack and make it a available here, but I think my knowledge of XOOPS will be a barrier...
Will try though.
