Can anyone help ?

after adding the traditional chinese language pack I created for Narga's Guestbook, my website went mad.
each time I click into the guestbook module, all of my menu items were displayed with funny symbols.
However, the system turned back to normal once I left the guestbook module.

What I did for the translation was:

1. duplicated the english directory under language and change the directory name to tchinese.

2. translate most of the vairable values into traditional chinese. ( I didn't translate them all )

Is this the right way doing the translation ?
or Did I miss anything out there ?

I've also tried to find some information here in the forum or on the internet but couldn't find anything.
Can you guys give me a hand on this ?
