I am using ImageMagick to do the shrinking / thumbnailing of pictures uploaded to user's albums. However, many of my users have complained about not having a batch upload feature. Since the community is managable, I have started to batch upload pictures for them. However, I have run into an interesting situation.

The "normal" or intermediate picture turns out looking funky like this


the thumbnail looks like the original, and the original is untouched, afik. But as you can see, the colors or something get goofed up.

-The does not happen with every batch add
-If I add the same pictures individually one by one through user interface, no messed up thumbs/normals

Any guesses?
