I use Flashchat (http://www.tufat.com/chat.php) on my sitehttp://www.gaining-mass.com .

Never had any problems with it and even with a dozen people in the chat it still ran fast. I've had several comments from users about how much they like it. Well worth the $5.

I have installed FlashChat without any problems. However, when I try to use it the screen does not refresh or show what I have typed. Any explanation for this?

Yes I used install.php to execute the sql files and checked the install with mysql. I am using XOOPS 2.0.6.

Hmmm, and you installed like a regular module?
can you see it in your mod directory?

uhm...here is some easily overlooked stuff as well...
check permissions...
ceck preferences for chat in chat...(do hear sound entrances and such?)

It's possible it may be a little buggy with 2.0.6
I have not upgraded to that point myself so I cant say.

Well you see there are two different ways of installing it...
One is as a stand alone...wherein you would just have to add a link to it....possibly even wrap it too I gusee.

All the rest, instructions et. all, are found in documents in the package.

-Good Luck

Yes I installed it like a regular module and I can see it in the mod directory.

I am not sure what the permissions are supposed to be. Preferences do not work.

The module loads and looks fine - just does not work.
