Ditto the topic. Everything was working fine until I upgraded to from 2.0.5 to 2.0.5.2

Now netpbm does not work since the upgrade (fails to make thumbs) and hangs when I do a netpbm check. imagemagick never worked so thats really not a concern.

Can you try turning on PHP debuging either in the XG mod itself or for XOOPS in general? Lets see if that will give us any enlightenment.

On one site I am running, I am running both xcGallery and xoopsgallery, problems arise when using anything other then GD.

I had no problems updating the site from 2.0.5 to 2.0.5.2. It could be your netpbm but I can't see how it's related. Have you tried using GD?

I appologize about the delay in reply.. food poisoning will do that.. heh

Turning on error logging did not show anything odd.

It took a good 2-3 mins between the time I submitted the test photo until the 'processed' window popped up. The window did not show any errors. But netpbm did not create a thumb.

GD? If you send me a link ill give it a try. Thanks.

I just checked the xoopsgallery module, and it doesn't look it supports GD libraries. GD is server side and is standard with most linux/apache instalations, so it's not something you can download and point to like netpbm.

If you install xcGallery, it has native support for GD if your host is configured for it and will show up in the list of options for packages to use. It supporst GD Ver 1.x, and GD Ver 2.x

There are no user definable paths to set for this, just check the option to enable it and it work automagically

Sorry about my earlier suggestion, I just assumed that module had GD support.
