I'm curious about something.

In the Smarty templates editable from the control panel, tags are delimited as <{...}>. But in templates such as those in language/english/mail_template, the delimiters are {...}.

What's the rule for knowing which delimiters to use?

mail_templates are not using SMARTY, but a simple preg_replace looking for {SOMETHING}
