what is the funny things with my xoops?

When i finsih installing,
and i press admin mode(something like this)
then i ask me something ,it say u are goign to the admin panel then i press ok
but i refer to that orginal page

Exactly the same thing here. I click submit on the q: "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed." and then I see "If the page does not automatically reload, please click here" for about a second and then I'm back at square one again Any ideas?

This means that the cache/ folder isn't writable, and that the adminmenu.php file can't be written by the system. Also, make sure that your firewall software allows http header infotrmation from and to cookies (add your site to the trusted sites list).

Sorry but this didn't fix it. My cache folder was already writable by everyone. I'm running on a local network so there are no firewalls involved. And to further clarify, I don't run any firewall software on any of the computers.

Hey, i'm having these problems too. i've made sure that the cashe file is 777 and that all the files inside are 777. Still it keeps logging me off after every couple mins. HELP!!! Its very annoying!!
