Hi XOOPS Community

Hope someone can help.

I am running a XOOPS site on version 2.0.5. The site was running for a month without any problems. The mail functions from the XOOPS website is now "suddenly" not working. I made no changes to the site, so it could not be anything I did. My hosting company did do some DNS updates, but i don't think that could cause the mail not to work.

If I use the "contact us" module, (or any other mail function) it looks as if the mail was send, I get no error, but I never receive the email.
From the Unix command-line sendmail works 100%.

Running on Redhat9 and using sendmail.

Can anyone tell me how to trace and debug (mail specific) problems from Xoops?

That will get started.

I've had this problem and it ended up that I needed to put some domains in /etc/hosts that included local domains.

Also if you are running Cisco gear you will surely need to do that because Cisco does not allow hairpin routing.

Oh yea.. check your disk space. I've had that happen as well.

df -m

Still don't know what caused this, but after old db restore it worked again - must have been something in the db. Hope it don't happen again.
