Message content in notification

Is it possible to include a story content (entire news story, a comment etc.) in a notification message? Newbb has this function and I find it very useful.

BTW. newbb notifications include only text of a post. Is it possible to have also a poster's username included?

Possible? Yes.

Out-of-the-box? No.

You'll need to hack the function used to retrieve the content to send in the notification as well as the template used for the notification. References to these are found in [module-folder]/xoops_version.php
