Hmmm Im not sure why this is necassary?
Myads works great, admin functions and all...
The globals Off version is the one Im using...

I don't mean to sound contrary...I only recently installed it and have been very impressed with it. Easily modifiable too!

I was trying to shutdown for sleep and saw this thread. I really need classified ads too. I have MyAds but can see a few problems with it including Globals needing to be on. You have something newer? This module has bounced around between devs and I can't be sure which version is which (and not being able to speak German).

Ah yes there are many versions...very confusing...

The version I got was modified by "tom" from Japan...
Text files says Mod Version 2.02 jp By Tom
From Pascal and a tipp off to GIJoe....

myAds_v2.03_jp_a.tar was the name of the download file. Jap/Fix it said....
I finally tried it and it worked!

The only thing was changing the currency (in admin) to Dollars....

There is no support Guide for it...so it takes awhile messing with the admin functions to figure it out.

It was on this site...but I just tried downloading it...and it didnt seem to work...Give it another try though...make sure you change mod the Nesc. Files before Install..etc.

I had a different version, but I did get it to work after some fussing with it. The one you mention is a bit newer but the download isn't working still. So I bounced over to the listed site and found this: 2.04 version

I'll give that a try tonight.
