The Virginia Public Service Workers Union has been on-line for almost a year. Recently they switched to XOOPS and I think it was a vast improvement.

Any suggestions, comments, etc. would be appreciated.

Nice site!

which module is the event calendar and the actionevents list and mailing list?

I didn't seem to ave those in the standard distribution...

The calendar is the Agendax module...(available here on xoops)
by wjue.

(a new version should be out soon...but the current version is still good)

The news? Might be evennews...if not though...even news is a good one to have.

Oh and the site...nice work. It's great to see XOOPS in effect for something larger than one individual.

Suggstion: You might place your images block in the right column and move one of those others to the center?

Looks quite nice. Easy to overview and find the information on the site.

Not the biggest union fan myself, either, but the appearance is nice.

The Recent News Articles block is actually another use of "wfsections." Action Alerts section is "cjcontent" and the mailing list is the new Dada Mail 2.8.10 (formerly MOJO Mail)

We're still tweaking the site so thanks for the comments and suggestions.
