Hi all!
I had a phpBB forum on another folder than the XOOPS one. Now i decided to use xoops' forum, because the users had to register twice (and this ain't a good thing...).
So i made a backup in sql format from phpBB control panel, but i cannot restore it in xoops...
how can i do?

(i'm tryin' something tonight...)

thank you!

Are you saying that you want to export a phpBB database and then import it into a XOOPS database, so that the forum (NewBB) module will use it, without doing any sort of conversion?

There was a PHPBB to NewBB converter, but seems the DL no longer works:

phpBb2 to XoopsBB Converter

You could try contacting the person who submited the article.

You may or may not know NewBB was originaly based upong PHPBB, but they are no longer compatible and I don't think by dumping the database into XOOPS will work because of the difference between both database's now.

Sorry I can't help further.

I don't know sorry.
However I posted that phpBB to newBB converter also in this site, that is the official one, to let other users solve their problems without posting in here...

I ran the script but the post count in XOOPS does not match that of PHPBB. What can be done to correct this?
