Problem with charset

Hi everbody. I've started using XOOPS and faced the following problem: I can't change charset in it. If I understand everything correct charset is defined in $xoops_charset



But I can't find a file in which it has been defined so I cannot change it. My customers are furious :( May be someone can help me???

Hello,
you can find what you're looking for in language\your_language\global.php.
There, you'll see at the bottom of the page :Quote:
//%%%%% LANGUAGE SPECIFIC SETTINGS %%%%%
define('_CHARSET', 'ISO-8859-1');
define('_LANGCODE', 'fr');

This example is for french language.
