Background color/border?? Paddings...

please go to http://coldfire.blackmoonskeep.net and see if you can help me out. I want the whole background black, but it still has that default background that I cannot seem to find how to turn black. I know it is in the stylesheet somewhere but I cannot figure it out. I'm not too good with CSS.

Also... block padding. I think the padding between my left and righ blocks is too much. How do I reduce it? I know it will mean the space between the top blocks and the banner graphic will get smaller, I have a fix for that. And I am sure it is in the theme_blockleft.html and theme_blockright.html but I just dont know how to fix that either. It may be the CSS again. I am just giving up at this point and dealing with all these problems... any help?

Can you copy your style.css code here and maybe we can point out exactly where to change your background color and your padding for you.

There are so many different style.css files for themes and it would be hard to tell you where to edit if it is not known exactly how your style.css is written.

All padding for your theme is controlled by the style.css too.

For your background, do a find and replace of color #10314A. (Replacing only the ones you need. There are a total of 5 references to this color in your .css file that I found.)

As for the rest, I didn't have time to look. Loading the theme or .css file in Dreamweaver may help you locate what needs to be changed. You should be able to download a trial version if you do not already own a copy. (http://www.macromedia.com)

Okay... I was looking at the CSS but for some reason I was overlooking that pc_bg.gif file. LOL! I changed it to black and now I am getting the look that I want. Or so it seems... now my concern is the padding between the blocks on the left and the blocks on the right.

You can change the padding for the blocks in each column through these settings above.

If you want to add space between the columns themeselves, you need to edit the theme.html file and change the width's of each column in there.
