A ticker module anyone?

I've searched this site for a ticker module, but (suprisingly) not found one. Sure I could use one from elsewhere, but that's not the point of XOOPS. Does anyone have a ticker module or know a link?

Well you can create a "custom Block" of course...thats an easy way to do it. Have one on our site....

Yep, i figured that one, just wanted to keep things 'all in house' Thanks for your suggestion though

There are ticker modules, but they display text like headlines/recent news/and so on.
Modules blockies, incblocks, lycos blocks,
But when you want your own text to insert you may want to search for marquee on this side, or use some dhtml/java script and include that in your theme.html

Thanks for your comment, I get the picture now; There are some good php scripts out there- I'll just import into a block

That's what I do, Richard! Javascripts can be imported into blocks too.
