Hi, I need a little help I´ve been trying to use the XOOPS code for the banner in a center center block. I put this:

<{$xoops_banner}>

but the block does not show neither the banner.

Am I inserting the code the wrong way?
How can I make the banner show in the center center block I created?

Thanks.

This might be a stupid question, but is your center block set to show on the correct pages in the Blocks Manager?

I checked and it is supposed to be visible in the news module, all I see is the title of the block but no banner inside, just an empty block.

My procedure was: create a new block, in the content part, I wrote <{$xoops_banner}> ,then I chose php script, then save.
Still the banner is not visible.
I remember making it work before so I am not sure what it is I am doing wrong now.

"<{$xoops_banner}>" is template, and is not php script.
you should write the script as follow

showbanner();

showbanner() is defined at includ/functions.php.
