In postnuke one can create a block for one particular headline entry. However, I cann't find that feature in xoops. In other words, if I have an rss/rdf entry how does one make that particular rss/rdf entry appear, let's say as a right block while other rss/rdf entries are on the left or center?

ATM such a feature is not available. All feeds set to display in a block will be placed in the same location.

That's really unfortunate Why not? This is a fundamental need, IMHO. Both postnuke and phpnuke can.
