Hello

I downloaded a theme off of here and its wonderful! I wanted to change the logo. The logo is currently in png format and I created a gif logo. How do i go about changing this?

Could someone please help me out.

Why don't you look into the themes' html, replace the logo.png with logo.gif........

I have replaced it with the logo.gif but it still wont work.:((

thank you for all your help. I've tried both but I obviously am doing something wrong and it still wont show. But thanks. I will just stick to .png formats for my logo.

you have to update your preferences after you make changes to your theme.html go to system admin -> preferences[edit] -> general settings - about fith or sixth option down. set to yes then submit. this will update the theme.html

dont forget to go back in and set to no when your site is up.
